Full Job Description

We are looking for a Care Assistant to provide residents with a detailed care plan, and assist with all aspects of personal care during the day. Ensuring the residents maintain independence and dignity, using a person-centred approach.,

  • Work in line with the company's values of Commitment, Connection and Compassion, using the Mobile Care Monitoring (MCM) system effectively
  • Provide high-quality personal care with dignity and respect, supporting independence, appropriate dress, mobility needs and use of personal aids
  • Support residents with meals, refreshments and dining?area preparation, ensuring a calm and respectful atmosphere
  • Observe, record and report any changes in residents' physical, emotional or psychological wellbeing to senior staff
  • Support residents' social, emotional and cultural needs, contributing to activities and helping them use the environment-including outdoor spaces - safely and fully
  • Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment, including basic housekeeping tasks, infection-control cleaning and ensuring clothing and linen are cared for appropriately
  • Act as a keyworker in line with home guidelines and assist with admissions, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents, relatives and visitors
  • Produce accurate documentation on the MCM system and contribute to reviews, assessments, handovers and meetings while maintaining confidentiality
  • Understand and follow B&M Care Quality Management System policies, procedures and medication-awareness guidelines
  • Attend all required training, supervisions and appraisals to support ongoing development
