Full Job Description

The purpose of this role is to support our Rehab and Recovery Unit and provide person-centred care and support for our service users. What I might be doing?

  • You will work within the Rehab and Recovery Unit and provide person-centred care and support for the service users within this unit.
  • You will communicate the needs of service users to management and maintain good relations between service users, staff, and visitors to the unit.
  • You will enable the service users in the unit to maintain or regain their independence, individuality, and dignity.
  • You will have flexibility to work across the district, We are looking for an experienced Care Assistant as part of our Dovecote Lodge Care Team.

    GCSE Grades D-G/Functional Skills L1 in Maths & English Language
  • NVQ 2 in Social Care.
  • An understanding of Safe manual handling techniques.
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults.
  • A minimum of two years' experience of working with older adults and an understanding of their differing complex care needs.
