An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Cardiology Department at St George's Hospital NHS Trust for an experienced and highly motivated IT specialist to join our friendly team and lead the management of our Cardiology IT/PACS systems., Our cardiac diagnostics are also critical for the management of patients in areas such as acute medicine, ICU, renal medicine, and oncology., The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our PACS and IT systems. Therole would involve, implementing new IT systems, upgrading existing IT systems and changes in workingprocesses to improve workflow within the department and maintain links with the Trust and RadiologyIT team who use similar systems., At gesh we are committed to supporting flexible working arrangements. St. George's Hospital is the provider of one of the largest specialised cardiology services in London. As a tertiary cardiac centre, we provide anumber of services and cardiac investigations such as Echocardiograms, Cath Lab procedures, Pacing, and ECGs, to support a wide range ofspecialties including cardiothoracic surgery, coronary and structural intervention, electrophysiology, inherited cardiac conditions and heart failure., St George's, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group cares for a population of four million people in South West London and North East Surrey.Our sites include St George's Hospital, one of 11 major trauma centres in the UK and the largest healthcare provider and major teaching hospital in the area; St Helier Hospital, home to the South West Thames Renal and Transplantation Unit and Queen Mary's Hospital for Children; and Epsom Hospital, home to the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC).

After years of collaboration, our two Trusts became a hospitals group in 2021. While remaining as two separate Trusts, being a hospitals group will help us to collaborate more closely on research, and the development, education, and training of our 17,000-strong workforce.
