Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for an aspiring healthcare scientist wishing to train in the speciality of Respiratory Physiology and form part of the regional community diagnostic centre. The post holder will undertake a 24-month training programme as a healthcare scientist level 4 apprentice within the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. Formal training will be given to develop the skill and knowledge applied to respiratory physiology. Study will take place in partnership with a college provider. This is a full-time post and there is an expectation that the apprentice will need to commit to self-directed study, attend college virtually and in person, and successfully complete the training programme within the contracted period., The post holder will undertake a 24-month training programme as a Healthcare Science Level 4 Apprentice. Formal training will be given where the successful candidate can learn and develop skills and knowledge relating to working in a respiratory physiology service by undertaking routine respiratory and cardiac diagnostic tests. - 5 GCSE's 9-4 (A-C) or equivalent academic qualifications - must include Maths, English, and Science
- Willingness to undertake any training or development relevant to the role
- Committed to complete the Level 4 Cardio-Respiratory Apprenticeship in Healthcare Science, Experience of working within a healthcare setting
- Experience of working in a customer service setting, Positive mindset in respect of supporting organisational change; learning, and continuous improvement
- Effective interpersonal and intrapersonal skills including high degree of self-awareness and self- regulation
- Takes responsibility and is accountable for delivering their agree objectives
- Consistenly professional, collaborative & Compassionate
- Acts to support and enable effective teamwork
- Delivers to a high standard
