Introduction
At Camira, we're offering the opportunity to begin a structured 5-year career pathway designed to develop the next generation of textile manufacturing and engineering professionals.
You'll start by completing a Textile Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience within our Carding & Spinning department.

What You'll Do
- Learning how to prepare fibres for the carding process
- Supporting the operation of modern spinning machinery
- Checking yarn quality and identifying any faults
- Recording production information accurately
- Carrying out routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
- Working safely while following quality, environmental and health & safety procedures
Training Outcome
Following the TMO qualification you will be entered onto an Engineer Qualification.
