Cardiac Physiologist

The role will involve supporting the day-to-day delivery of cardiac investigations and procedures, including cardiac catheter laboratory procedures, cardiac rhythm management pathways, device follow-up clinics and a range of non-invasive diagnostic tests. The successful applicant will also contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and the training and supervision of junior staff and trainees.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-thinking Senior Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology Department at Barts Health NHS Trust. Based primarily at St Bartholomew's Hospital, the successful candidate will work as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team delivering a comprehensive range of invasive and non-invasive cardiology services, with cross-site working across the Trust as required., Applicants should be competent in non-invasive cardiac investigations and have experience working within a cardiac catheter laboratory environment. Experience in cardiac rhythm management, including pacemaker, ICD and CRT follow-up, would be advantageous. Candidates working towards independent practice in device therapies and BHRS accreditation are encouraged to apply., The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a commitment to high-quality patient care, and the ability to work effectively within a busy and evolving cardiology service. You will be expected to demonstrate the professionalism, leadership and clinical expertise appropriate to a senior role, while embracing opportunities for further development and career progression.
