Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

Are you an experienced Cath Lab Nurse or Theatre Practitioner looking to advance your career within one of the UK's most innovative cardiac services?, As a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care before, during and after a range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support procedures such as coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), device implantation and other complex cardiac interventions within a state-of-the-art Hybrid Cath Lab environment.

You will act as a scrub or circulating practitioner, ensuring procedures are carried out safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and infection prevention. The role involves monitoring patients throughout procedures, recognising and responding to changes in their condition, and providing reassurance and support to patients and their families.

You will collaborate closely with Consultants, Cardiac Physiologists, Radiographers and fellow nursing colleagues to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. In addition, you will contribute to service improvement initiatives, maintain accurate clinical documentation, support the development of junior staff and ensure compliance with professional, regulatory and organisational standards. The Harborne Hospital is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse to join our expanding interventional cardiology team. Based within our state-of-the-art Hybrid Cath Lab Theatre, you will play a key role in supporting a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, working alongside leading Consultants and multidisciplinary specialists to deliver outstanding patient care.
