Full Job Description

We are excited to be looking for part time cancer navigator posts to support some of our cancer speciality teams. The post holder will be speciality based and play a pivotal role in supporting a patient's journey by effectively helping with the smooth running of the cancer pathway.

The post holder will provide an efficient administrative support service for cancer teams, liaising with patients and staff of all levels, including medical staff, contact with patients, their families and carers., The post holder will be innovative and participate in service improvement through audit and peer review measures. We firmly believe in holistic care, and we have strong links with the Milton Keynes Patient Partnership group who work alongside us to help improve services.

The role requires someone with exceptional organisational skills and who can demonstrate great communication and interpersonal skills with care and sensitivity., The onsite cancer centre offers streamlined cancer services with the recent addition of an Oxford University Hospital onsite radiotherapy service. This developing service is underpinned by a forward thinking and supportive management team, Specialty Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Palliative Care Team and Administration Team.If you are reliable, hardworking, flexible, self-motivated and can demonstrate excellent communication skills, then this position could well be right for you
