An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Macmillan Urology Specialist Nursing team as a Cancer Care Coordinator.

The role is part of the Prostate Easy Access Support Service. This service provides a personalised stratified follow up programme for patients who have completed treatment for prostate cancer.

The service is managed by a well-established Uro-Oncology Specialist Nursing team, who care for patients undergoing prostate, bladder, kidney, penile, testicular and retro-peritoneal sarcoma cancer surgical and medical oncology treatments at The Christie Hospital in Manchester., The post holder will work as a Macmillan Urology Cancer PSFU (personalised stratified follow up) Care Coordinator to support the Uro - Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist team delivering Personalised Cancer Care (PCC) to people affected by urological cancer. This will include

Excellent interpersonal and administrative skills are paramount for this role, together with the confidence to engage and work with a range of colleagues at all levels and from all professional groups.

To apply you need to be an enthusiastic, motivated and pro-active individual. The ideal applicant will have some experience and knowledge of treatment pathways and specialist care for urology cancer patients.
