Full Job Description

As Campus Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in the effective delivery of a high-profile, 24/7 Campus Support service within Facilities Management at Edge Hill University. Reporting to the Campus Support Manager, you will provide essential logistical, administrative and system-based coordination that enables the service to operate smoothly and respond effectively to day-to-day operational demands and major University events.

The role includes ownership of several core operational systems and processes, including coordination of the University's vehicle fleet, parking permit administration, access control systems and supplier contract reviews. You will work closely with internal teams, external suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure services are well managed, compliant and aligned with operational needs.

You will also provide vital administrative and coordination support to the Campus Support management team, contributing to areas such as budget monitoring, data collation and reporting, incident and operational reporting, emergency planning activity, and compliance with statutory information requests. Through effective organisation, attention to detail and strong communication, you will help maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming campus environment for students, staff, visitors and partners.

You will be highly organised, proactive and confident working in a fast-paced operational environment, with experience of coordinating complex logistical or administrative activities. You will be comfortable taking ownership of systems and processes, managing competing priorities and working with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure services run efficiently and effectively.

You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and service users. You will be confident handling data, maintaining accurate records, supporting reporting requirements and using information to support service improvement. Experience of fleet coordination, access control systems, parking administration, supplier liaison or event logistics would be particularly beneficial.

You will demonstrate a strong customer-focused approach, professionalism and discretion, with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and compliance within a university environment. Above all, you will share Facilities Management's values and commitment to teamwork, integrity, continuous improvement and delivering an outstanding campus experience for the Edge Hill community., Disability Confident
