Job description
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated Campus Facilities Operative to join our team. Working in our Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone campus, you will ensure the campus and associated facilities are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe, secure, clean, and welcoming environment for all users, supporting the day-to-day operations of the campus, including maintenance and compliance.
The ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.
Requirements & Compliance
- Safeguarding: Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and EWC registration (costs covered by the candidate).
- Qualifications: Lecturers must hold or be willing to achieve a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) within a set period.
