Full Job Description

The children, young people and families accessing our service require a range of interventions to support them within their journey of recovery. A typical week will involve working autonomously and as part of a wider team. With MDT support, you will assess, formulate, deliver and review mental health interventions. You will effectively interface with stakeholders of the service, and you will work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team. With regular supervision, you will manage a caseload and work in partnership with children, young people and families within your care, from initial referral through to discharge. You will conduct regular mental health assessments and demonstrate skills in risk management and safeguarding of vulnerable children and adults. Taking a child-centred approach, you will utilise your skills to formulate, deliver and review the efficacy of tailored therapeutic interventions within your sphere of practice.

Are you a registered nurse, social worker, therapist, OT or other allied health professional and are you passionate about providing quality mental health services for children and young people, with interventions tailored to need?
