Full Job Description
We are delighted to offer multiple opportunities for experienced CAMHS Practitioners to join our expanding Partners in Practice (PiP) Team -- an innovative service working at the interface of health and social care. With new funding secured, we are growing our multidisciplinary team based within Hampshire Children's Services hubs. PiP practitioners provide specialist consultation, training, and evidence based interventions for children and young people open to Children's Services. As a CAMHS Practitioner, you will use your clinical skills to deliver high quality assessments, formulation driven interventions, and reflective consultation to social care colleagues. You will work with complexity, collaborate across agencies, and contribute to a service that is shaping the future of psychologically informed practice in Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity for clinicians who thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a meaningful impact on outcomes for vulnerable children and families.Main duties of the job
- The post holder will join a team of specialist CAMHS practitioners, senior CAMHS practitioners, psychology, and family and Systemic psychotherapy.
- The post holder will offer a specialist mental health perspective to the multidisciplinary team/hubs through direct therapeutic work, consultation, joint work, and participation in team meetings.
- The post holder will work closely with the Children's social care teams to provide the social worker foundation team with additional, co--located services.
- The post requires the holder to be a member of a multi-disciplinary/multi-agency team to maintain a caseload and provide direct clinical work that demonstrates a high level of specialist skill in treating the client system, where children and young people have mental health difficulties. All children and young people are seen in the context of their family.
- The post holder will provide advice & clinical consultancy to teams in relation to the mental health needs of children and young people aged 5-18 residing in a range of domestic settings, including living at home, with wider family, a foster carer, or a residential home.
