Full Job Description
To provide community based treatments to Eating Disorder clients. The post holder will provide nursing input into the specialist eating disorders service, acting as care co-ordinator and implementing home treatment support for a defined caseload of clients. The post holder will manage clients with severe eating disorders who are difficult to engage in treatment, have complex care needs. The post holder will work with the outpatient and day unit nurses and consultants to provide monitoring and support to severely unwell patients. S/he may also contribute to the pathway for clients with severe and enduring eating disorders and act as a link worker for patients who are making the transition from CAMHS to adult services. The post holder will carry out specialist nursing assessments, plan and implement care, respond appropriately to crises and maintain associated records.
