Full Job Description

To actively support the Council's vision, values, aims and priorities by delivering high-quality, customer-focused services that place children, young people and families at the centre of everything we do.

As the first point of contact for the Children's Front Door, you will receive, manage and accurately record contacts, requests for support and safeguarding concerns relating to children and young people. You will gather relevant information, assess urgency and ensure that contacts are progressed promptly and appropriately in accordance with statutory guidance, local procedures and safeguarding responsibilities.

You will provide a professional, sensitive and responsive service to practitioners, partner agencies, children, young people and families, ensuring effective communication, accurate record-keeping and timely escalation of concerns where necessary. Through your role, you will contribute to the effective safeguarding and wellbeing of children and young people, helping to ensure they receive the right support at the right time.
