Full Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Preston to assist with the appointment of a Café Supervisor, on a 1-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., Cafe Supervisor will support the Cafe Manager in the day-to-day operation of the café at Avenham Park. You will supervise front-of-house staff, ensure excellent customer service, maintain high operational standards, and help deliver an efficient and welcoming café environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Cafe Manager with the daily operation of the café.
Supervise and support front-of-house staff during shifts.
Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
Allocate duties and monitor staff performance throughout the day.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and presentation.
Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
Previous experience working as a Cafe Supervisor or in a similar supervisory hospitality role.
Experience supervising front-of-house staff.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
