About the role We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Caf Assistant to join our hospitality team at Sugar Ronson Campus. This role is working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday with an expectation to to work occasional weekends and evenings. Hours are from 7.30am to 3pm or 8.30am to 4pm. You will play an important role in providing a welcoming caf and hospitality service for residents, community members, visitors and colleagues. From preparing food and refreshments to serving customers and supporting events, you will help ensure everyone receives a friendly, professional and responsive service. You will also help maintain clean, safe and welcoming caf, dining and hospitality areas, while following all food safety

About you You will ideally have previous experience working in a hospitality, caf or catering environment and have a Basic Food Hygiene qualification, or be willing to undertake and pass the qualification. We are looking for someone who: Has a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys helping others. Has good communication, literacy and numeracy skills. Understands the importance of food safety, health and safety and cleanliness. Can build positive, respectful and trusting relationships with customers, residents and colleagues. Is able to work confidently as part of a team and independently when required. Can remain calm and effective during busy periods and cope with sustained pressure. Is organised and able to prioritise their workload. Is flexible and able to work as part of a rota. Understands the importance of sensitivity when working with vulnerable people. Is committed to providing a high-quality, flexible and responsive service. Is willing to learn,
