Full Job Description
You will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, driving team performance and ensuring a seamless service experience that aligns with our standards. You will be expected to work closely with the existing Cafe Supervisors.,
- Will be responsible for managing daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring all health, safety and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.
- Supervising and training of staff
- Oversee stock levels
- Minimise wastage
- Act as the primary point of escalation for customer concerns, resolving issues in a professional manner The individual needs to be organised with strong customer service skills to ensure that visitors to the parks receive a quality café experience. You will report to the Catering Services Manager who is responsible for the four Country Park café sites. This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

The position is for every Sunday 8.30 - 5pm in the summer and and 8.30 - 3.30pm in the winter. There will also be the opportunity for extra shifts to cover annual leave and sickness This is a loan working position during the week and school term time weekends. You will be expected to hold a Level 3 Food Safety certificate.
