CAD Technician

We're looking for a CAD Technician to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting engineering and operational teams by creating, updating, and maintaining technical drawings and GIS mapping data. What You'll Do

• Produce and update CAD drawings, including site plans, layouts, process flow diagrams, and electrical drawings.
• Maintain drawing standards, document control, and version management.
• Manage CAD libraries, templates, and technical documentation.
• Support GIS mapping activities and asset data updates.
• Act as the main point of contact for CAD-related queries and support.
  
  Essential
• Proven AutoCAD experience in an engineering or technical environment.
• Experience producing and amending technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and document control skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Desirable
• Experience within utilities, water, infrastructure, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of electrical/process drawings and GIS systems.
• Experience using SharePoint or document management systems.
