Job Description
We are currently on the look out for a Buyer to join our Purchasing Team, within the role you will be responsible for non-metal sourcing and procurement for the business. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost effectiveness and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality and reliability
- Negotiate favourable contracts, terms and prices with suppliers
- Manage the full procurement process from end to end
- Take full ownership leading contracts and categories you are assigned
- Manage contracts efficiently and strategically - lead commercial discussions, contract processes, and conduct regular reviews
- Proactively build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal performance

- Strong proven experience as a Buyer with the ability to negotiate
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experienced with ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experienced with supplier management and relationship building
