The Butchers Arms is a traditional street corner local in the heart of Canton, Cardiff - bright public bar, cosy lounge, stained glass character, and a loyal community that knows exactly what a great pub should feel like. We are looking for an operator with the passion and resilience to bring this pub back to life and restore its place at the centre of the neighbourhood!

This is a true community rebuild opportunity. The right person will understand that success isn't just about driving sales - it's about rebuilding trust, visibility, and reputation in an area where relationships matter. With current weekly sales around £3,500, a 100% wet led offer, and clear potential to introduce simple, good value food, there's plenty of scope for someone with energy, creativity, and a lead from the front style to re establish momentum. Canton's vibrant mix of long term locals, families, young professionals and sports fans provides a rich audience ready to reconnect with a pub that reflects their spirit.

You'll be the face of the business - engaging with the community, driving standards, creating reasons to visit, and shaping a warm, inclusive, proud local once again. From weekly events to match day buzz, digital engagement to grassroots relationship building, this is your chance to revitalise a pub with real heritage and make a meaningful impact.
