Full Job Description
To assist the Senior Business Support Officer in providing an efficient business support function within the Musculoskeletal service at Altrincham Hospital.
To work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, patients and other stakeholders to meet service need and deliver efficient admin support., The post holder will input data onto EMIS Web in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of the information.
The post holder will carry out a range of clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, and emailing.
The post holder will follow the documented processes for new referrals and log them in the appropriate manner.
The post holder will maintain office supplies/stationery, reporting any faults/problems to the MSK admin supervisor where appropriate.
The post holder will participate in Team/Service meetings as required.
The post holder will carry out reception duties, including meeting and greeting patients, booking appointments and answering the telephone.
The post holder will take telephone messages accurately and ensure they are passed to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
The post holder will respond to e-mail requests and messages and ensure they are passed to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
The post holder will download information from the intranet and internet, including clinical website, for the team and / or the Team Leader as required.
