Full Job Description

We are recruiting for the role of a Business Support Officer covering Rugby Family Help on a part time (18.5 hrs per week) Monday 09.00 - 17.30pm, Tuesday 09.00 - 17.30pm & Wednesday 09.00 - 13.30pm, Business Support contributes to the efficient running of the team and the achievement of the County Council vision to make Warwickshire the best it can be, sustainable now and for future generations. You will work in a team to provide effective, flexible and responsive Business Support to one of the Council's Services, with the ability to support other teams as and when required. It is a fast paced, energetic and exciting area to work in, where you will be part of a close team. You will work proactively, looking for new ways of working, contributing to the outcomes of the services that you are supporting as well as the outcomes of the Business Support Service. We are looking for someone who has good organisational skills, is able to problem solve and use their own initiative, a great attention to detail with excellent communication skills. Now is an exciting time to be part of our team as Warwickshire begins to embed our Families First teams who support the young people in our County. Our approach is about locality working, multi disciplinary and multi agency teams that support the whole family. Building strong partnerships with local services, Health, Police and Education., Working hours - 18.5 hrs per week - Monday 09.00 - 17.30pm, Tuesday 09.00 - 17.30pm & Wednesday 09.00 - 13.30pm As part of this role you would be required to undertake general administration duties, data analysis & manipulation, responding to queries, assisting & supporting frontline services., The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public. We recommend submitting your application as soon as possible.   • An ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment, and to manage changes at short notice.
  • Good IT skills with a knowledge of systems for data management.
  • Experience of minute taking desirable.
