Full Job Description

Our team remit spans learning and career development, practice assurance, regulatory and statutory standards and much more. As we take forward new plans, you'll play an important part in helping us deliver them. What will you be doing? You will be providing a high standard of administrative support for the delivery of workforce development and practice assurance activities, and you will have regular contact with colleagues across our services and with our partner organisations. This includes helping to arrange events, taking course bookings, collating and recording information about training activity, completing purchasing/invoicing processes, supporting audits of professional practice, helping with creating reports, servicing meetings and events, and much more.
You'll be organised, confident with administrative tasks, and able to build positive professional relationships with colleagues and partners from the outset. You'll also work with sensitive data, maintain accurate records and support compliance, so a good understanding of data protection is important. Prioritisation of work across varied projects, attention to detail and effective use of Microsoft Office are just as important, so if this sounds like you, we'd be pleased to hear from you.

You will probably have heard a lot about how beautiful it is in terms of countryside and open spaces (and it is!) but there is so much more going on here, including world-class cultural assets like the Mappa Mundi, vibrant theatres and a thriving food and drink sector. One of Herefordshire's biggest assets is the strong and diverse communities. Our Talk Community approach brings that together supporting people to help themselves, encouraging them to help their communities and identifying how communities can help individuals. Our ambitious transformation programme aims to further build on this to offer an all-age approach.
