Full Job Description
We're hiring a Business Support Manager to join our Manchester-based team, supporting a mix of financial administration, procurement processes, commercial reporting and compliance documentation. This role is ideal for someone confident with purchase ledgers, Excel data handling and working closely with operations and QHSE.,
- Process and code purchase invoices; maintain accurate supplier records
- Manage payment schedules and international transactions
- Liaise with Finance, QHSE and Ops teams to support reporting requirements
- Upload and manage documentation on procurement/client portals
- Format and extract data for forecasting, audits and business reviews
- Support bid submissions and maintain commercial templates
- Maintain accurate VAT and audit support records
- Ensure compliance with core mandatory controls (CMCs)
Experience in a finance or business support role - Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data formatting essential)
- Strong communicator comfortable working across departments
- Familiarity with procurement portals and document uploads
- Detail-oriented and confident managing purchase ledger duties
- Understanding of VAT and audit processes a plus
