Full Job Description

  • Act as the first point of contact for Adult, Providers and Neighbourhood Services, responding to enquiries and directing people to the right support
  • Organise and manage sensitive and confidential information, ensuring accurate and secure record keeping
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support including managing contacts, updating systems, preparing case files, and responding to queries
  • Arrange and support meetings, including taking clear minutes and tracking actions
  • Complete financial tasks in line with council processes, including using electronic systems and maintaining accurate data
  • Work flexibly across teams, supporting colleagues and contributing to a high standard of customer service

    This role is ideal if you have experience in administration or are ready to build your career in a rewarding public service environment. You'll need to be organised, confident communicating with a wide range of people, and able to manage competing priorities., Level 3 Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, including note taking and report writing
  • Strong IT skills, with ability to use systems such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, or quickly learn new ones
  • Ability to organise workload, prioritise tasks, and work to deadlines
  • Professional, respectful, and collaborative approach to working with others
  • Adaptable and willing to support different teams to meet service needs
