Full Job Description
- Act as the first point of contact for Adult, Providers and Neighbourhood Services, responding to enquiries and directing people to the right support
- Organise and manage sensitive and confidential information, ensuring accurate and secure record keeping
- Provide day-to-day administrative support including managing contacts, updating systems, preparing case files, and responding to queries
- Arrange and support meetings, including taking clear minutes and tracking actions
- Complete financial tasks in line with council processes, including using electronic systems and maintaining accurate data
- Work flexibly across teams, supporting colleagues and contributing to a high standard of customer service
This role is ideal if you have experience in administration or are ready to build your career in a rewarding public service environment. You'll need to be organised, confident communicating with a wide range of people, and able to manage competing priorities., Level 3 Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience - Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, including note taking and report writing
- Strong IT skills, with ability to use systems such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, or quickly learn new ones
- Ability to organise workload, prioritise tasks, and work to deadlines
- Professional, respectful, and collaborative approach to working with others
- Adaptable and willing to support different teams to meet service needs As part of the pre-employment checks, should you be offered the role, we'll carry out an Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

'Site based' roles can include up to two days a week working from home whilst 'home based' roles are based at home four days a week.
