Full Job Description
We are recruiting an administrator to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday supporting our community mental health team based at the Chadwell Centre in Paignton.
This is a dynamic, challenging and fast-paced role. You will be supporting Consultants, Medical Staff and Clinical colleagues with all administration tasks required to support patient care and contribute to the smooth running of our service, You will have experience of working in a team, providing administrative support in a busy office environment. The role involves communication, so we expect that you have excellent verbal and written skills. These will be tested as you produce reports, maintain filing systems and records and take accurate meeting minutes. We expect you to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, with level two standard in Word and Excel as a minimum. Typing and processing of correspondence and assessments, diary management, digital dictation, database management, you will have direct contact with services users, families, carers, care homes and professional agencies and organisations.
Interacting with patients and the public both from an office and reception environment you will be confident in giving non-clinical information and advice that improves their experience. Dealing with sensitive information daily, you will understand the importance of data security.
You will often work under pressure and without direct supervision, so we are looking for someone confident and capable. You will prioritise tasks, and manage your own workload, providing support for your colleagues where required. You will become an important part of the team, working to ensure that every patient receives high quality care.
