Business Studies Lecturer

The Supply Register is recruiting on behalf of NCG for a knowledgeable and passionate Higher Education Business Lecturer to join the academic team at NCG s Higher Education Centre in Canary Wharf, London (E14 9GE). This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate Business programmes, supporting learners as they develop the academic knowledge, professional skills, and confidence required to succeed in their chosen careers. • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across Higher Education business programmes
• Inspire and support a diverse student body to achieve their academic and professional goals
• Plan lessons, assessments and marking in line with awarding body and institutional requirements
• Support students with academic development, progression, and employability skills
• Contribute to course development and curriculum enhancement
• Maintain academic standards and quality assurance processes
• Foster an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the ongoing development of programmes
  
  Essential
• A degree (or higher) in Business, Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• Experience teaching in a Higher Education setting or delivering HE-level Business content
• Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching skills
• A student-centred approach with the ability to engage and motivate learners
• Excellent communication, organisational, and assessment skills
Desirable
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
• Experience contributing to curriculum development and quality enhancement
• Relevant professional or industry experience within business or management
