Full Job Description

We're looking for a Business Services Lead to join the North Warwickshire Portfolio of properties, Charlecote Park, Baddesley Clinton and Packwood. You'll work closely with your property colleagues with a focus on core business services supporting all department functions with the support of your team of office volunteers. You'll need to travel between all three properties on a regular basis so there will be a need to be flexible and adaptable to suit the business need. You'll be required to work regular weekends, bank holidays, and peak business times. You'll perform the duty role of Site Lead, and you will need to get stuck in and help operationally wherever you're needed, playing a lead role in keeping the whole property running smoothly, looking its best and delighting our visitors. Interview date: 10th June 2026 What it's like to work here Reporting to the Property Operations Manager you'll be part of a friendly high functioning team of colleagues, leading the business services department across the three sites, along with direct line management of a Business Services Assistant who will support you across the portfolio of properties. You'll assist the Property Operations Manager in all daily business along with providing support to the Senior Leadership team with facilitation, minute taking, and ensuring confidentiality and discretion. It's an exciting time to join North Warwickshire, as we merge into a new portfolio and streamline our new ways of working. As a friendly, outgoing team we're passionate about conserving the special places in our care, putting visitors first in all we do, and ensure exceptional service both internally and externally with our stakeholders and partners. What you'll be doing Working as part of the portfolio team, regularly working across all three sites, you'll often be the first point of contact in the office, via phone and email. You'll be responsible for accurate record keeping and data management, financial management and reporting: all money management, including banking, petty cash, and supporting the team with compliance tasks and administration. You'll manage all systems and processes and lead in any training that may be required, including financial management and budgeting. You'll be a champion of best practice when it comes to business services and will confidently challenge process and procedures when change is needed to adapt and reshape to our new ways of working and newly structured portfolio.

To deliver this role successfully, you'll need to be:

  • experienced in leading in business services, and responsible for office supervision
  • good at written and verbal communication skills
  • able to work as part of a team, but also on your own initiative
  • flexible and focused on people and customer focused
  • happy to multi-task and manage your own priorities and workload
  • well organised and attentive to detail
  • good IT skills
