Full Job Description
Our colleagues work for the National Trust in many locations and sometimes don't have easy access to internal vacancy listings. Using the internet ensures we can reach as many of our colleagues as possible. We appreciate that this can be frustrating for external talent. Do note that some roles are released externally after an initial period. If you're brilliant at organisation and creating order, and you love working with people, upholding high standards in service and presentation, then this could be the role for you. We're looking for a Business Services Co-ordinator to join us at the Lacock and North Wiltshire portfolio., You'll be based in the Estate Office at Lacock, reporting to the Facilities and Support Services Manager. You'll become part of a small but dedicated team that takes real pride in what they do-looking after our workspaces and making sure everyone who visits or works at our properties feels safe, supported, and welcome. From staff and volunteers to visitors, you'll play a key role in helping create a positive and well run environment for all. What you'll be doing This is a busy place, there's a lot going on and you'll find that no two days are the same. Generally, you'll be supporting day-to-day operations, and being the first person that people see when they come into the office. Your advice and experience will be sought after by others beyond the office team. You'll be a champion of best practice when it comes to business support, and will confidently challenge the status quo when you think there's a better way of doing something.
We'd love to hear from you if you're:
- experienced in giving business support, along with responsibility for facilities or office supervision
- good at communicating, both in writing and speaking
- able to work as part of a team, but also on your own initiative
- flexible and focused on people
- happy to multi-task and manage your own priorities and workload
