Full Job Description
- Processing Inclusion Fund and Post-16 Panel processes, ensuring applications, decisions and records are processed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Provide high-quality administrative support and advice to schools, providers, managers and professionals, responding to enquiries and resolving issues effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working, making recommendations that support efficient, accurate and consistent service
- Coordinate workloads and support colleagues, ensuring information is accurate, deadlines are met, and services are delivered efficiently across the team.
You will be joining a friendly team of experienced Business Services Assistants in Schools and Learning as part of the Inclusion Support Service. This is a fast-paced, varied role where you'll need strong organisational skills, adaptability, and the ability to meet deadlines in a changing environment. If you're a team player with a can-do attitude and enjoy finding solutions, we'd like to hear from you. While the role provides flexibility, you are required to attend the office for a minimum of one day per week. Weekly arrangements may vary, and flexibility to work in the office when required is essential. The team is based in several locations across the County including Alfreton, Chesterfield and Matlock. Although the base location is currently Cotmanhay this will be changing and the preferred base location from our sites can be discussed at interview., - Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
- Confident communicator, providing timely and professional support to clients, colleagues and partners.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365, with the ability to analyse data, learn new systems and maintain confidentiality and data protection standards.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and adapt to change, ideally some financial experience.
