Right now, were recruiting a Business Manager to support NHS Blood & Transplants Systematic Review Initiative. The Systematic Review Initiative are a small, friendly team who undertake evidence-based medicine research to develop further research questions and guide transfusion medicine decisions and activity. We work with clinicians and researchers in the UK and across the world. You will also have the opportunity to work on other research activities which members of the Systematic Review Initiative are involved with. This is a new role, and we are excited to welcome someone new into the team who can help support us and all of our activities., In this role you will be: Assisting the SRI Manager in overseeing and monitoring training compliance, SRI risk management records and to support the SRI in maintaining standard operating procedures and website compliance. Assisting with providing information and drafting reports and documents, e.g. for SRI annual steering group meetings, annual funders reports, funding bodies and other organisations. Providing a business support service to the Systematic Review Initiative, reporting to the SRI Manager. Providing support for the operational, financial and administrative aspects of all SRI activity. Supporting the Evidence Libraries team in the monthly update of all libraries and the preparation of Evidence Alerts. Being responsible for managing the process of updating the SRI website. Assisting in the development of SRI documents and other materials. On occasions, you will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which will involve working irregular hours and overnight stays
when required, with prior notice.
