Business Manager

Sunderland City Council are seeking to recruit a Business Manager to support colleagues in Adult Social Care and our Sunderland Care and Support Service (SCAS). The post will be of interest to applicants who are skilled and experienced in working within an ICT Platform Development, system re-design and Business Development role in the following areas:

• ICT Platform Development and system re-design
• System Reporting and Process Mapping
• Development and maintenance of excellent practice
• Development, implementation of associated policies and processes
• Leading on system upgrades and ensuring processes meet statutory requirements
  
  The successful applicant will have a wide range of transferable experience within an appropriate background as well as excellent ICT skills, good written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary area of work. Excellent organisational, prioritization and negotiation skills will be required to balance a varied and wide-ranging workload with competing priorities.
Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent experience.
