King Edward VI School Lichfield is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Business and Economics teacher to join an exceptional department. With a high uptake and high achievement at Key Stage 4 and 5, you will be joining a strong, experienced, collaborative team.
Business is a popular and thriving subject from Key Stage 4 through to our successful Sixth Form. At A level, the department also offers Economics and Accounting. We are particularly keen to receive applications from candidates who can teach at least two of these A-level subjects.
We are looking for a teacher with infectious enthusiasm, excellent communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents. We expect the successful candidate to work as part of a team and be willing to participate in all aspects of school life.
King Edward VI School is a popular 11-18 comprehensive school rated Good by OfSTED in 2022 with recognition of outstanding practice and a highly positive ethos. The school is well-regarded within the community and has a reputation for high quality teaching. Lichfield is a small, vibrant cathedral city which is easily accessible from the surrounding areas.
