Full Job Description
We're looking for a confident, driven New Business Executive to play a pivotal role in fuelling our client's sales pipeline. This role is all about opening doors, starting meaningful conversations and securing quality appointments for a fast-paced, successful sales team. You'll be the first point of contact for prospective clients, researching target companies, engaging decision makers, and converting interest into booked, qualified sales appointments. Working closely with sales and marketing, you'll have a direct impact on new business growth and revenue. This is a permanent, onsite role based near Bedford, with working hours of 8:00am-5:00pm or 7:30am-4:30pm. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively making outbound calls to warm and cold prospects to introduce the business and secure appointments
- Following up calls with personalised, timely emails to progress conversations
- Researching target companies and key decision-makers to ensure relevant, quality outreach
- Booking well-qualified appointments for the sales team, aligned to agreed criteria
- Accurately recording activity, outcomes and pipeline data in the CRM
- Working closely with sales and marketing to support campaigns and achieve daily and weekly appointment targets
A confident, persuasive communicator who enjoys speaking to people on the phone - Experienced in appointment setting, lead generation or outbound sales (desirable)
- Target-driven, resilient and motivated by results and commission
- Well-organised, with strong attention to detail and CRM discipline
- Comfortable handling objections and engaging decision-makers professionally
- A proactive team player with a positive, can-do attitude
