Business Development Manager - SMG
Permanent Position. Package Negotiable. Preferably within commuting distance of West Berkshire.
SMG The National Furnishing Group are the largest and most progressive flooring buying group in the UK and support over 450 of the best Independent Retailers.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual to lead and work with the SMG team to develop its membership base, retail offer and services.
This role will require experience of retail and/or sales in the flooring sector and will be office based but with regular travel around UK as required.
The ideal candidate must have the following skills…
- A strong communicator who can represent the Group with excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience of retail and/or sales in the flooring sector
- A tenacious / professional approach to membership development
- Be driven and self-motivated
- Have the adaptability to work alone as well as with a small team
- Strong written skills and proficiency in office IT systems including Office, Outlook and CRM packages
