Business Development Manager - Lifestyle & Technology

This role requires a self-motivated person with a strong sales background and a good knowledge of the logistics industry.,

• Supporting the company sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, focusing on targeting new customers within the Lifestyle and Technology Industry Vertical.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including potential customers and partners.
• Manage key stages of the sales cycle from initial customer contact through to RFQ project management and support in contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution design, operations and finance to design and deliver customised logistics solutions that meet clients' specific needs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify business opportunities.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities for different business units and clusters.
• Proactively seek new leads and attend industry events.
• Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  
  Proven experience in a business development role within a logistics operation, including warehousing and / or transport.
• Experience managing end-to-end tender processes.
• Exceptional communication, sales and relationship building skills.
• Excellent presentation skills, able to make powerful arguments and persuade both visually, in documents and verbally.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
• Proactive and results-orientated.

  This a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience). The working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm., Car allowance of £6000 per annum
