LT Selection are recruiting on behalf of a growing independent training provider for an experienced Business Development Manager to support the continued expansion of its Construction Apprenticeship provision across the North West. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious business development professional with experience selling apprenticeships or funded training into employers within the construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new employer partnerships, increasing apprenticeship starts and developing long-term commercial relationships with construction businesses across the region. The provider delivers high-quality construction, retrofit, low carbon and business training programmes, working closely with employers to develop future talent.
- Develop new employer relationships across the construction sector.
- Generate apprenticeship vacancies and learner starts.
- Promote Construction Apprenticeship programmes to employers.
- Build relationships with SMEs and larger construction organisations.
- Attend networking events, employer visits and industry meetings.
- Develop a strong sales pipeline using CRM systems.
- Manage the full employer engagement process from lead generation through to apprenticeship enrolment.
- Work collaboratively with recruitment, enrolment and delivery teams.
- Achieve monthly apprenticeship start and revenue targets.
- Provide employers with advice regarding apprenticeship funding and workforce development.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and account growth.
Previous experience within apprenticeship sales or employer engagement. - Proven track record generating new business.
- Experience working with construction employers.
- Strong knowledge of funded apprenticeships.
- Excellent relationship building skills.
- Commercially driven with a consultative sales approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Able to work independently from home.
