Business Development Manager - Automation & Engineering Services

We are looking for a commercially focused Business Development Manager to drive growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships and developing a strong sales pipeline. Working closely with senior leadership and delivery teams, you will support bids and proposals, develop market awareness, and help secure new business across our target sectors.,

• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools.
• Develop client relationships and act as a trusted commercial contact.
• Support the preparation of proposals, tenders and presentations.
• Contribute to pricing, commercial negotiations and bid strategies.
• Deliver targeted marketing and networking activities to generate leads.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  
  Experience in business development, sales or commercial roles within engineering, automation, industrial services or similar sectors.
• Proven ability to generate leads and develop new business opportunities.
• Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills.
• Experience supporting proposals, quotations or tender submissions.
• Confident using CRM systems, LinkedIn and digital engagement tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.
