At Oakley Food Projects, we design and deliver cutting-edge food, beverage and clean-room facilities across the UK - and business is growing fast. We're now looking for a driven Business Development Executive to help us open doors, start conversations and turn opportunities into long-term partnerships. The role You'll be on the front line of our growth, engaging food and beverage manufacturers and uncovering real project opportunities. This is a high-energy sales role for someone who enjoys conversations, asks smart questions and isn't afraid to challenge prospects. You'll:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Qualify leads through insightful questioning and active listening.
  • Hit clear KPIs (80-100 calls per day, 22 contacts, 5 qualified leads a week).
  • Keep our CRM (HubSpot) accurate and up to date.
  • Track market trends and competitor activity.

    Proven experience in cold calling, consultative selling and lead generation (construction industry experience desired but not essential).
  • Confidence using HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
  • Strong communicator who builds rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated, organised and accountable.
  • Commercially curious with a problem-solving mindset.
