An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our friendly head office team. We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our growing team and play a key role in expanding our client base and strengthening our market presence. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new opportunities and contributing directly to business growth. With a basic salary of £30,000 and OTE of up to £40,000 , you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities, developing strong prospect relationships, and supporting the wider sales team to convert leads into long-term partnerships. This role suits someone who is proactive, resilient and motivated by success, with a passion for delivering results and a desire to progress within a fast-paced, growing organisation. We specialise in security guarding and systems solutions. Experience in selling a service on a contract basis is preferred. Role Responsibilities:
- Generating sales leads, both major blue-chip companies and SME businesses using data, LinkedIn and own research Gathering and maintaining accurate customer information using a CRM system Using targeted cleansed data to identify leads Managing and maintaining Dripify account, tailoring AI responses to clients and guiding automation process Identifying decision makers and potential requirements Maintain a close relationship with prospects and clients; form successful working relationships to allow scope for
further ad-hoc sales and drive future opportunities. Develop and manage existing customer requirements Work closely with the Commercial Director on sales strategy and pipeline Work alongside the Bid Writer to support on proposals Make use of platforms such as LinkedIn to promote the business, network and to initiate and progress leads Provide regular updates to the CEO Required skills and experience: Positive attitude, enthusiastic and must be able to show initiative Professional and confident phone manner Confidence to deal with people at all levels and of different backgrounds +1 Year B2B sales/telesales/business development experience Experience of working within the security or facilities management sector is highly desirable Proven success in a similar role We are offering a competitive salary and benefits including; 21 days holiday per annum plus all UK Bank Holidays. Holiday allowance rises by 1 day per year with service, up to a maximum of 25 days. - Commission of £100 per qualifiable appointment made Contributory pension scheme Access to company-funded gym membership after completion of 6 month probationary period Free parking and electric vehicle charging This is an office-based role in Solihull, West Midlands. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm inclusive of a 30 minute lunch break.
