Business Development Executive

Our client, a specialist Maritime Security company is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Executive to support continued growth. Based at their offices in Surrey, this role offers exposure to international clients and high-value security projects and will give the indiviual excellent exposure to the sales, Marketing and Proposals side of the company. This is a hands-on position combining sales support, marketing execution and RFP / bid writing, ideal for a proactive professional looking to step into a broad, impactful commercial role. • Deliver marketing activity including industry conferences, exhibitions and events.
• Coordinate conference stands, branding and promotional materials
• Support sales activity from lead generation through to contract award
• Maintain CRM data, sales pipelines and reporting
• Co-ordinate and support writing RFP, ITT and proposal responses, coordinating internal contributors
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  
  Graduate level education (or equivalent)
• experience in business development, sales, marketing or proposals
• Proven experience writing RFPs / bids / proposals
• Strong written communication and commercial awareness
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Experience in maritime, security, defence, offshore or technology sectors highly desirable
