Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Identify, research and engage prospective customers across target markets.
- Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking and referrals.
- Proactively generate and qualify new business opportunities, supporting their progression through the sales pipeline.

- Attend exhibitions, trade shows and networking events to promote Micronclean and generate leads.
- Support customer meetings, presentations and sales activities where required.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor pipeline performance.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on lead generation campaigns and follow up enquiries.
- Provide insights on customer needs, market trends and competitor activity.
Experience in business development, lead generation, sales or other customer-facing commercial roles.
- A strong new-business mindset and genuine enthusiasm for identifying and creating sales opportunities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence initiating conversations with prospective customers and building relationships with decision-makers.
- Resilience and persistence when handling objections, following up prospects and managing longer sales cycles.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, organised and results-focused.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customers, exhibitions and events.
