As a Business Analyst Summer Placement Student, you'll support a range of IT and business improvement initiatives by:

  • Analysing, validating and cleansing data to improve accuracy and quality
  • Gathering, documenting and prioritising business requirements
  • Working with stakeholders across the business to understand needs and progress project activities
  • Creating process maps, data summaries, action trackers and issue logs
  • Coordinating stakeholder reviews, feedback and approvals
  • Supporting project meetings, reporting and follow-up actions
  • Identifying risks, blockers and data-quality issues and escalating where appropriate
  • Contributing ideas and recommendations that help improve business processes and project outcomes

  • We're looking for a motivated and analytical Business Analyst Summer Placement Student to join our Group IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on real business projects, collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and develop valuable skills in data analysis, requirements gathering and project support., We're interested in students or graduates who are curious, collaborative and keen to learn. You'll ideally have:
  • A degree (or be studying towards one) in Business, IT, Data, Engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders
  • Good Excel skills and experience organising or analysing data
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently when required
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn business analysis techniques
  • Desirable criteria:
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL or data visualisation tools
  • Exposure to projects, process improvement activities or stakeholder engagement
  • Experience within an IT, engineering or manufacturing environment
