Business Analyst, Charles River Development, Officer

Experteer Overview In this role, you will partner with clients and product teams to translate business needs into actionable product requirements for the Charles River Investment Management System. You will become a product expert across modules and asset classes, shaping features that enhance front-office workflows. You will collaborate across the SDLC within an Agile team to deliver high-impact solutions for investment management clients. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role focused on improving the client experience and product performance. Pay / Benefits

• Apply knowledge of business requirements to support product development Research and create business and technical requirement documents Provide product expertise to internal stakeholders to align with customer expectations Collaborate with customers and product management to define feature specifications across the lifecycle Demonstrate technical acumen with APIs, state stores, and integration utilities Partner with development to implement and refine features Plan validation tasks, conduct manual tests, and develop verification plans Provide feedback on product performance and documentation accuracy Support client beta testing and train users on new releases Assist with project schedules, deliverables, and issue resolution Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, backlogs, retrospectives) Contribute to group testing activities as needed Tasks 5+ years of software development lifecycle experience, with Agile preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation Advanced writing skills for clear abstraction of complex information Strong analytical abilities to reconcile data Ability to translate customer needs into application requirements Strong technical background with financial domain awareness Experience with middle office investment management functions Knowledge of API, state store, and integration workflows Proven planning and scheduling capabilities Curiosity about financial markets and trading Ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive functional/technical specs Knowledgeable in one or more CRD functional financial areas Strong written and verbal communication with high attention to detail Key requirements inclusive development opportunities flexible work-life support paid volunteer days vibrant employee networks
