  • Contribute to AI governance principles, data strategy, and horizon scanning activities for emerging technologies.
  • Elicit, analyse, and model business processes (As-Is and To-Be) using appropriate techniques (e.g. BPMN), ensuring alignment with business objectives, data flows, and system requirements, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience operating as Business Analyst across digital, data, or enterprise level environments.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Defence, ideally supporting MOD (e.g., DE&S, Defence Digital) programmes, and familiarity of JSP453 [desirable].
  • Experience working across system or service lifecycles (e.g. CADMID or equivalent), including requirements management and design phases.
  • Strong experience translating business needs into technical artefacts such as requirements specifications, process models, and data flows.
  • Experience working in data, integration, or enterprise architecture environments (e.g. supporting architects, modelling data flows, defining interfaces).
  • Demonstrable experience supporting governance, standards, or policy development within complex programmes.
