At the Royal School for the Blind (RSB) you will find an enthusiastic and supportive team who provide an all-inclusive package for every child and young person within our care. Our team work approach, allows for quick and reliable communication across school. We have a total communication approach where staff listen and respond to children facilitating their expression to enable a safe and happy environment. We are seeking a positive, approachable Business Administration Apprentice to join the team and work towards your apprenticeship whilst supporting the administration team with the below. Main duties;
- Maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
- Answering phone calls
- Provide general office support to teachers and business managers
- Organising meetings
- Meeting and greeting visitors/ parents
- Using school online systems
- Operate office equipment
- Undertake training required to develop this role
- Contribute to the safety and wellbeing of our children and young adults Join us and be part of a team that support professional development and values consistent improvement.Training to be Provided Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day. You will be working towards the Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Business Administrator L3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional skills in Maths and English if required This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise. Apprenticeship Duration
