Full Job Description
Building Surveyor - Social Housing The role will involve carrying out detailed property inspections, preparing schedules of work, providing accurate costings, and supporting contract delivery across a wide variety of retrofit projects. Key Responsibilities
- Undertake detailed surveys of occupied and void properties Prepare accurate specifications, schedules of work, and cost estimates Provide valuations in line with contract requirements Monitor works on-site to ensure compliance with specifications and KPIs Identify building defects, risks, and remedial actions Produce clear technical reports and maintain records on SharePoint Work closely with contract managers, operatives, and clients Act as a key contact for tenants and stakeholders on technical matters About You Proven experience working in social housing Previous experience in surveying within housing, maintenance, or construction Knowledge of retrofit works and planned maintenance Full UK driving licence
