Building Surveyor

We're looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join our growing team, working on a diverse portfolio of projects across both the public and private sectors.

What You'll Be Doing Deliver building surveying projects and professional instructions from inception to completion
Undertake building surveys, condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical inspections
Prepare specifications, schedules of work and technical reports
Deliver contract administration, project management and dilapidations services
Carry out site inspections and clerk of works duties
Manage project budgets, programmes and stakeholder relationships
Collaborate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
Produce high-quality deliverables on time and to the highest professional standards

Degree qualification in Building Surveying or a related discipline
MRICS qualification or working towards chartership
Experience delivering professional building surveying services
Knowledge of contract administration and project delivery
Strong technical reporting and communication skills
Experience managing client relationships and multiple projects
Commercial awareness and a proactive, collaborative approach

Desirable Experience Healthcare, education or local government projects
Building surveys, dilapidations and asset management
Planned maintenance programmes and refurbishment projects
AutoCAD, NBS and other industry-standard software
