Building Surveyor

You'll play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our Building Surveying offering in Leeds, contributing to an established and ambitious team while helping to deliver high-quality projects across a diverse portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Senior Building Surveyor who is looking to take on greater responsibility, expand their client relationships, and further develop their career within a leading consultancy. You'll focus on technical excellence, project delivery, and building strong client relationships, while supporting the continued growth and success of the team. What we're looking for: A motivated and experienced Building Surveyor with a proven track record in project delivery, who is eager to grow their client-facing responsibilities and contribute to business development. If you enjoy collaborating with colleagues across multiple disciplines, taking ownership of projects, and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients, we'd love to hear from you. Main Duties:

• Delivering a wide range of building surveying services, with a particular focus on project work
• Managing projects and coordinating our in-house multi-disciplinary design services
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for repeat business
• Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior members of the team
• Undertaking technical reviews to ensure the highest standards of service delivery
• Contributing to business development activities and helping to strengthen our presence across the region
  
  MRICS qualified (or working towards qualification)
• Consultancy experience, ideally with exposure to public sector and commercial projects
• Commercial awareness and an interest in supporting business development activities
• Ability to manage projects independently and prioritise your workload effectively
• Experience supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Strong technical building surveying knowledge across a variety of sectors
• An analytical mindset, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-considered reports and recommendations
